KOIZUMI entered the lighting market in 1957 to realize the Fundamental Principles, “We seek to increase customer satisfaction, pursue innovation in every process, and contribute to affluent society,” we have dedicated to the product quality and created our own original products. Including residential lighting, we have produced a wide range of shops and facilities lighting.
In Japan, LED lighting swept the conventional light source (such as incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, discharge lamps), and has been progressing introduced to the market at a stretch over the last few years. We also fit in this movement, we have introduced the large quantity product in the unusual speed to market. For overseas markets, we have our own production base and sales network, we are strengthening the efforts of the Japanese companies that aim to expand overseas.
From 1987, as the only lighting competition for students for the purpose of promoting the promising youth, and improve the cultural lighting situation, we hosted “Koizumi International Lighting Design Competition for Students”. Over the 25 years, more than 33,000 students have submitted their works from 42 countries. I am happy to say that many of the award winners have become successful designers in various fields worldwide.
We will send out a variety of useful information towards overseas as well as in Japan, and aim for our vision “For originators of Lighting Culture”, and be more dedicated to “the quality of lighting” than ever.
